My 5th Great Uncle Obadiah Allin and his wife Lydia (Bush) had a talent for names, I think. I should have known when I found that he went by the name "Diah" instead of his longer name. Here is a list of his children's names which I think would make ten excellent options if you are expecting:
The first bit of genealogy records that got me started on the Larsson family was a collection hand written by my grandmother Dora. I believe she was researching her connection to American Revolution veteran Daniel Page in support of her application to the Daughters of the American Revolution. Daniel Page survived the war, married, and had two sons and at least sixteen grandchildren when he passed away in 1847.
I don't remember my grandfather very well. He passed away when I was just six. I have just a few memories of places we went and things we did together, like a summer picnic at state park, an outing to a backwoods pond, or reading a book on camping on the floor as he sat in his easy chair and read whatever adults read. He left a strong impression however, as a serious man. I got the same impression from my Great Uncle Harold sometimes, too.
