Leftover Turkey Pie
My entry in the family cooking contest. Made from Thanksgiving leftover turkey.
Ingredients
- 1 ea pie crust
- 2 lb cooked and shredded turkey
- 2 cup diced sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup leftover green beans
- 1 cup leftover carrots
- ¼ cup leftover/cooked onions
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- ¼ tsp poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare crusts according to crust directions.
- Mix turkey, cheese, vegetables, seasonings in a bowl.
- Spoon filling into pie crust.
- Cover filling with mashed potatoes.
- Cook until potatoes are golden on edges
